Education and Research

Sustainability is a fundamental pillar of the Origine business and is also strongly based on its social aspect. Origine Group understands that social sustainability is based on a process of improvement in the quality of life of society, mainly by reducing discrepancies between opulence and misery, through various mechanisms. These mechanisms include: leveling the standard of income, housing and food, access to education, and attending to the needs of continuous intellectual training, among others.

As for intellectual formation, the social dimension of sustainability is increasingly a question that concerns a set of actors in the educational universe, enhancing the involvement of the different knowledge systems, the training of professionals and the community in an interdisciplinary perspective, without forgetting to contemplate the interrelations of the natural and social environment.

Origine intends to include in this educational universe all workers in its business chain, with a view to continuous training, qualification, training and improvement, in order to enhance the engagement of the different knowledge systems to be produced and transferred.

Qualification, professional development and improvement of living conditions are focal points. In order to do so, Origine will offer its Training Course that will include an innovative and unprecedented Curricular Matrix throughout the world. It pursues with this Educational Matrix a broad awareness of professionals to understand “what they do”, “why they do it”, “how to do it right” and the great “importance of what they do.”

Objectively, the project aims to:

  • Optimize educational processes for the conscious and professional qualification of people for the work in beef processing plants and the like;
  • In particular, the profession of workers in the beef processing and related industries, with status and professional recognition, socially and economically valued in the labor market;
  • Foster the interest in knowledge and skills to work in the areas of health, industrial, environmental and related;
  • To value Brazilian education by providing innovative and unprecedented courses that are effectively aligned with market needs, and particularly favor the communities where we will be acting through our businesses and which present socioeconomic, educational and / or technological deficiencies.

Origine will take into account, for the target audience’s choice, the details of the current socioeconomic profile, educational level, family income, age group and other characteristics that will serve as a reference base for the process evaluation of results and the formulation and implementation of the Project.

It will also be made the description and quantification of the public that will participate and benefit from the project, the direct beneficiaries: individuals who participate in activities developed under the project or who will receive support and direct benefits; Indirect beneficiaries: individuals influenced by the direct beneficiaries of the project (eg, family members, other workers seeking training).

As a Scope, the Project presents 6 (six) solutions that will be implemented gradually:

  1. Post-graduation Lato Sensu – (Food Processing)
  2. Technologist – (Superior)
  3. Origine Technical Course – (Food Processing)

The Origine Educational Project is an asset of the highest importance, not only because it meets the needs of JR Indústria Frigorífica in the industrial process, but because it will be of great social importance in qualifying, dignifying and providing a better quality of life and professional achievement for thousands of Workers of the Food Industries, especially those of the processing plant industries, without defined profession in the labor market.

It should be added that, with qualified professionals, the industrial processes can be performed in a highly satisfactory way, restricting the negative impacts and generating positive impacts with regard to the quality of the products obtained. Thus, for example, it is possible to estimate lower losses due to contamination or inadequate handling, less problems with machines and equipment resulting from misuse, and proportional to a pleasant and productive work environment.

In another instance, the environmental and economic aspects of sustainability will also be contemplated by the Educational Project.
